What is Loslyf? Loslyf is a quarterly digital magazine designed to inspire, motivate, and connect all types of girls with the creativity that lies deep within. We are looking for thought-provoking content about how all kinds of girls can find themselves creatively through photography, writing, art, interviews with female professionals in the creative field. What is this magazine about? Loslyf is a magazine that will allow girls to discover their creative possibilities, regardless of their age or skill level. We believe that creativity is a gift for everyone, and we want to give girls the opportunity to explore their creative potential. Our goal is to reach out to the different types of "girls" who may be interested in writing for us. We are looking to inspire creative girls from around the world, regardless of race, gender, religion, or social status. Our hope is that Loslyf will be a reflection of this nation's makeup and from the girl from the inner city to the girl from Beverly Hills. Where does funding for this magazine come from? Loslyf is a grassroots effort and we do not have any funding sources except your donations. Our goal is to build a brand that represents girls today and tomorrow. We want all girls to realize their creative potential and empower them through creative expression. We are working toward the dream of a world where girls will be able to express themselves creatively without feeling afraid or ashamed. We are also seeking to create content for girls who are interested in writing, photography, graphics, art, interviews, etc. Who is behind Loslyf? Loslyf Magazine is owned and operated by Jamey Stinnett. Jamey Stinnett is a seasoned photographer/journalist with 15 years experience in multimedia journalism. While working for US News & World Report as the first editor of the USC newswire, she was responsible for creating numerous multimedia web news stories including "The Shadow President" which was nominated for an Emmy award. Jamey has also worked as a photojournalist for the Los Angeles Times, USC Newswire, USA Today, and The Christian Science Monitor.
